FTTH Asia Pacific Conference & Exhibition 2013

Welcome to all attendees of this year’s 2013 Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council Asia Pacific Conference to be held in Auckland, New Zealand from May 19th to 21st, 2013.

The workshops will cover professional development, technical project management and independent contracting. The conference will conclude with a technical site tour to allow delegates to visit an actual FTTH deployment in New Zealand. With the New Zealand government contributing $1.35 billion to accelerate the take-up of ultra-fast broadband across the country, as well as significant amounts of private coinvestment by the government’s partners, it is a huge undertaking and one that is of great significance to the industry globally. Indeed, regionally, the value of the overall investment in broadband is over $40 billion.

This conference will include a comprehensive range of topics presented by distinguished presenters from many different institutions and organizations from across the globe. FTTH Council European Forecast 2012-2017

Based on individual analyses of 21 countries, and brief reviews of a further 22 countries, covers a total of just over 310 million households, 197 million in the EU and 105 million outside the EU. The data were presented at the FTTH Conference 2013 in London.
