Supervisor – Fixed Network Telecommunications
Ireland (Ref.: SUP IR)

 

General description:

Coordinates and supervises several teams guided by the company's basic guidelines, carrying out short and medium-term planning of the work of these teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate, together with your superior, in preparing the work planning, work schedule, and material list;

  • Manage the human resources and other resources assigned to you in order to ensure the good quality of the work under your responsibility, in accordance with the established rules, standards and procedures, within the agreed deadlines;

  • Organize the construction site and supply the materials and tools necessary to carry out the work;

  • Check and control the quality and quantity of materials used;

  • Prepare tests and measurements for installed equipment;

  • Visit in person and regularly the works under your supervision, check the quantities and quality of all works and prepare reports on their status/evolution;

  • Collect the elements necessary to carry out the work registration;

  • Interpret the technical drawings of the work;

  • Coordinate third parties (subcontractors);

  • Request the necessary materials for the works;

  • There may be some adjusted responsibility, within the framework associated with the project being developed for a specific client, in the case of contractual requirements

  • Enforce and comply with the quality, environment and safety rules in force at the company;

Minimum requirements:

  • Academic training: Compulsory School or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;

  • Minimum experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the telecommunications sector and minimum of one year in management and/or supervisory roles;

Technical skills:

  • Have good knowledge of the English language;

  • IT from the user’s perspective;

  • Know the legislation, regulations and standards in the area of telecommunications;

  • Knowledge of construction management and planning;

  • Basic knowledge of Safety, hygiene and health applied to professional activity;

  • Team spirit;

Telecommunications Technician – Splicer
Ireland (Ref.: JUNT IR)

 

General description:

Analyzes schemes, drawings and technical specifications and carries out installation, conservation and repair work on transmission means, switching equipment for telecommunications installations under the guidance of a superior.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings/schemes, technical operating manuals for telecommunications installations and equipment;

  • Execute the installation of telecommunications equipment support infrastructures;

  • Carry out operating tests and analyze the respective information regarding the operating levels of telecommunications installations;

  • Detect faults and carry out corrective measures;

  • Carry out all activities related to the installation and commissioning of fiber optic cables;

  • Comply with the plans and programs defined by the management team and in accordance with the client's engineering rules;

  • Comply with the quality, environment and safety rules in force at the company;

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 2 years as a splicer;

  • Good knowledge of English (mandatory requirement);

  • Computer skills;

  • Know how to read and interpret technical diagrams/drawings;

  • Driving license;

  • Availability to travel around Ireland;

Safety Technician (m/f)
Ireland (Ref.: SAFE IR)

 

General description:

Develops prevention and protection activities against professional risks and assists the department in all aspects and documentation needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop professional risk assessment processes;

  • Design, plan and develop prevention and protection measures;

  • Carry out safety and hygiene activities at work, ensuring legal compliance;

  • Prepare all the necessary documentation to assist the department;

  • Promote information and training for workers and other stakeholders in the workplace;

  • Promote the integration of prevention into the company's communication systems, preparing and making available the necessary specific information;

  • Streamline worker consultation and participation processes in the context of prevention;

  • Carry out safety inspections on site;

  • Enforce and comply with the quality, environment and safety rules in force at the company;

Requirements:

  • Compulsory Education or higher education in a relevant area;

  • Strong knowledge of English;

  • Availability to travel to Ireland and stay for a long period of time;

  • Computer Skills;

  • Legislation, regulations and standards on safety, hygiene and health at work;

  • Selection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in relation to the workstation/function;

  • Assessment of professional risks;

  • Prevention and Protection Measures;
